Sanlúcar de Barrameda is easily connected by highway (A-380) to the city of Jerez de la Frontera (22 kilometres).
Highway A-480 also connects Sanlúcar de Barrameda to Chipiona (8 kilometres) and to Rota (19 kilometres).
Highway C-441 connects Sanlúcar de Barrameda to Seville, located 98 kilometres away.
It is also possible to connect to Seville through freeway AP-4 (Seville-Cádiz), which makes it less than an hour away.
Highway C-602 (Sanlúcar-The Port de Santa María) links up with N-IV and connects to Cádiz, located 45 kilometres away.

The Madrid-Cádiz railway line passes through the cities close to The Port de Santa María and Jerez de la Frontera, which in turn link up to entire railway network of the different communities.
